Most parents come to me after therapy, school support and every patient conversation they could manage and still watch their daughter struggle. It usually means the approach wasn’t the right fit, not that she can’t be helped.
My clinical background means I don’t guess. I quickly identify what’s truly holding your daughter back and build a proactive, personalized plan from day one so she gets the right tools at the right time, not six months from now.
I work with families in-person throughout Fairfield County and virtually across the US.

If this is your daughter, you’re in the right place.
What You are Noticing
She looks fine on the outside but home feels heavier.
More shutdowns, more tears, more distance. Her mind loops on worry and what-ifs. Friendships feel loaded with drama and comparison.
And if she’s an athlete, the sport she used to love now feels like one more thing she can get wrong.
What She Needs
A clear way to start and follow through when everything feels overwhelming.
Tools to calm the spiral without shutting down.
Confidence that holds under pressure at school, with friends and in competition.
What I Know for Certain
Your daughter isn’t broken.
She doesn’t need to be fixed.
She needs practical tools and a safe place to practice using those tools with someone who understands both the clinical picture and the real-life pressure she’s carrying.

Is Coaching Right for My Daughter or Does She Need Therapy?
Therapy is valuable, especially when a teen is navigating trauma, clinical diagnosis or deeper mental health concerns. But for many of the girls I work with, therapy isn't the missing piece.
What they need are skills. Practical, usable tools they can reach for the moment anxiety spikes, homework piles up, a friendship implodes or a big game feels impossible to face.
That's where coaching is often more effective. Rather than looking backward to understand patterns, we work in the present, building emotional regulation, confidence, follow-through and real strategies for the specific pressures your daughter faces every day.
Not sure what’s right for your daughter? We’ll figure it out together on your free consultation call.

The Coaching Roadmap:
Skills Teen Girls Can Use for Real Life
Goals &
Motivation
Clarity first, then momentum, so she always knows her next step, even when everything feels overwhelming.
Friendship & Boundaries
Confidence in relationships, without the drama, so she can navigate hard conversations and let go of comparison.
School Stress & Executive Function
Less overwhelm, better systems so last-minute panic becomes a thing of the past.
Sports Performance Anxiety
Steady, focused and ready to compete so pressure doesn't get to decide how she plays.

What Parents Notice First
Caroline’s dedication to our daughter went above and beyond
We had the pleasure of working with Caroline for our teenage daughter, who had been struggling with self-confidence and anxiety both in and out of school. She felt comfortable with Caroline from the first session and opened up easily. Caroline truly listened and gave her practical strategies she could use to manage her anxiety.

She helps you go after your goals without feeling overwhelmed
Caroline is an incredible source of support. She’s easy to talk to, really understands what you’re going through and offers encouragement that feels grounding rather than overwhelming. I always leave our conversations feeling more positive and clear.

Certified Teen Life Coach

I didn't come to this work by accident.
For years I worked as a licensed clinical social worker, as a clinician with teens, adults and families, and later as an Associate Vice President leading teams of mental health professionals working in the community. I've sat with teenagers in some of their hardest moments. I understand what's happening beneath the surface and I know how to help.
But I also know this work from the other side of the table.
I raised two daughters, both Ivy League Division 1 athletes and I watched up close how the pressure to achieve can quietly take the joy out of everything. My husband and I raised driven, motivated, high-achieving girls. And we also watched what that intensity costs. That experience didn't just shape me as a mother. It profoundly shaped me as a coach.
When my youngest daughter graduated high school, the timing finally felt right. I became certified as a Teen Wisdom® Life Coach and launched Room2Realize because I wanted to help other families navigate these years with more clarity, more confidence and a little more breathing room.
What I bring to every session is something most coaches can't offer: a clinical eye that quickly identifies the root of what she's carrying, paired with the lived experience of a mom who has genuinely been in the trenches beside her own girls.
Your daughter deserves both. And so do you.
